Our client is an established and very successful manufacturing company and due to their continued success Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.
We are seeking an electrical / mechanical engineer who has previous manufacturing maintenance experience to work in a Monday to Friday (days) based role at our client's production facility near Sparkhill.
Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for the day to day maintenance, service and repair of production machinery and plant facilities at a busy manufacturing plant.
Your duties will include but is not limited to the following;
* Electrical / mechanical maintenance, service and repair of all plant and facilities including; Hydraulic presses and injection moulding machines
* Electric wiring, distribution panels, motors, inverters
* Pumps, valves, gearboxes
* General site ,maintenance
The role is a new position and will suit candidates who have good all round electrical / mechanical and facilities maintenance skills.
Applicants will have good electrical and mechanical maintenance skills.
You will have 17th Edition electrical certification and you will be competent in 3 phase electrics, pumps / valves, motors, pneumatics and hydraulics.
Ideally you will have previous experience in working in a manufacturing or production environment.
You will be hard working, enthusiastic and highly motivated as essentially this will be a maintenance role which you will develop into your own.
