To support our growth and continue to make every day special for our staff and customers we are expanding our team and seeking a Systems Support Analyst to help us in the next chapter of our story. You will be joining the team at a very exciting time as we implement the latest Microsoft Cloud ERP system and Point of Sale solution in Spring 2019 (Dynamics 365 for Operations and MPOS). This company wide project runs alongside other key initiatives in our Cloud strategy.
Working closely with the Infrastructure Analysts and Business Systems Analysts to improve and enhance the service level and availability of the systems supported.
Identify and feed back to 3rd line or Application support any issues that require further investigation or that may be an opportunity to improve the systems and service.
The Systems Support Analyst will work as part of the Systems Support team to monitor the call logging system, addressing walk-up and telephone support requests and react to various alerting and monitoring systems.
The Systems Support Analyst will provide day-to-day support for all retail/hospitality POS, desktop, server and cloud applications as well as desktop, mobile and POS hardware.
Key competencies required for this role are as follows;
- Microsoft Office (2013/2016/365)
- Microsoft Windows 10
- Exchange Online Office365 administration
- LAN / WAN / Wi-Fi / DNS / DHCP concepts
- Active Directory administration (Users and Computers)
- Incident and problem management
- SCCM (basic usage for PC build and remote support)
- Windows Server 2012/2016 basic administration
- Avaya IP Office basic administration would be beneficial.
- Excellent verbal communication skills
You will be able to clearly demonstrate technical capability across the Microsoft application suite (Windows & Office), Active Directory administration and familiarity with networking concepts. Significant experience in a similar role within a retail or hospitality environment is extremely desirable.
